We let out a contented sigh when we first laid eyes on Tomoko Maruyama‘s line of prints and greeting cards with their sweet, delicate and whimsical illustrations of San Francisco.

They remind us of how happy and lucky we are to live here in the Bay Area, and we further appreciate Tomoko’s unique interpretation of the city’s lines, shapes and colors. Formerly a sports teacher for children and seniors, as well as a lifeguard in Tokyo, Tomoko found her true calling when she moved to the US to study design and then finally started her business in just March of this year. And we’re glad she did. Welcome to Modern Mouse, Ms. Tomoko Maruyama, and thanks for sharing your work with us!
