Lisa Yvette launched her Oakland-based business Creative Allure in 2003 as a greeting card and bookmark business. Since then, it’s expanded to stationery, purses, t-shirts, and other gift items.

We’re super excited to have Lisa join our family!  Her sunny colors and prints are a constant reminder to look at life on the bright side.

The Creative Allure Story:

“I’ve enjoyed the art of sewing and crafting from a young age. Watching my mother, I learned how to sew and crochet. I’ve always had an entrepreneur spirit. As a teenager, I would sell my creations to make extra money thus, putting me on the path of starting several businesses.”

Lisa works in the pharmaceutical industry as a biotech.

Did you know?

“I also love to screen print, paint, draw, and wood work. The best part of multiple skills is being able to combine the different techniques to create beautiful art pieces. One of my favorite projects is small wooden benches. I build and paint pretty images onto them such as flowers and butterflies. They make good conversational pieces as well as great curb appeal when you sit them in your front yard.”
